Three Fame members were activated and deployed with two FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Task Forces to the Carolinas in preparation of and response to Hurricane Florence. Captain Steve McDonald is a Rescue Specialist with Maryland Task Force 1, Lt Bill Cummings is a Technical Search Specialist and FF Brad Cosgrove is a Medical Specialist with Pennsylvania Task Force 1. MD TF-1and PA TF-1 were staged, along with Florida Task Force 1 and Florida Task Force 2, in Columbia, SC at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. Both teams operated throughout North and South Carolina. The last member returned after a three week deployment.
