The Fame Fire Company took delivery of a new Zodiac MilPro Grand Raid MK II inflatable rescue boat with a 30 horsepower Evinrude E-TEC outboard motor. Boat 53-1 will be our new first out boat for water rescue emergencies. Boat 53-2, also a Grand Raid MK II with a 25 horsepower Evinrude E-TEC outboard motor, will serve as our second out boat. The Fame Fire Co. No. 3 is Ready PA Type 2A Swiftwater Rescue Team and our members follow the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission water rescue curriculum.
