At 1614 hours, Stations 53, 55 Ambulance and Medic 91 were dispatched to the 1000 Block of Pottstown Pike for an accident reported serious with one ejected. Chief 53 went enroute and was advised by County that they are re-alerting the company for new reports of one subjected trapped under the vehicle in addition to the one victim ejected. Rescue 53 made the response with seven and was on location within 8 minutes of dispatch. Crews arrived and quickly went to work with the 32" spreaders, air bags, and cribbing to lift the car off the patient. The extrication was complete within 7 minutes. Engine 53 provided manpower and secured the hazards.

Both patients were transported by GFAC and Medic 91 to Paoli Hospital. WCFD Fire Police shut down Pottstown Pike for the duration of the Police's investigation.
