This past Sunday, members from the Fame completed training in Firefighter Survival. The class consisted of classroom lectures and ended with a full day of practical training. Safe fireground operations as well as emergency operations were the focal point of the class. During the practical training day, members practiced bailing out of structures via windows onto ladders, bailing out utilizing rope, and bailing out by hanging down from a window. Members were also put through a challenging obstacle course, and practiced breaching through walls.
