This past weekend, a dozen Fame members participated in a weekend of rope rescue training provided by Rescue2Training. Instructors, Kelly Byrne and Rob Callahan from DCFD, reviewed practical rope rescue skills utilizing our current equipment cache of CMC MPDs, CMC AZTEK Pro Kits and the Arizona Vortex. Crews practiced two-tensioned rope systems using the MPDs. "Appalachian Doortex" using the Arizona Vortex, victim pick-off techniques , litter attendant techniques and tower rescue skills.

A great weekend of real-world training was enjoyed by all.
