Crews from Rescue and Engine 53 just cleared a multi-vehicle accident with one trapped in an overturned SUV. The accident occurred at Phoenixville Pike and West Chester Bypass (Rt 322). Rescue 53's crew stabilized the vehicle using Paratech Rescue Struts then removed the roof using HURST Tools to gain access to the victim. Engine 52-1 crew manned a charged hose line while Fame members performed the rescue. The victim was transported to a local hospital for care by Good Fellowship EMS. West Goshen Township PD are investigating the cause of the accident.
