Working Incidents over Memorial Day Weekend

The Fame kept quite busy this Memorial Day weekend answering multiple incidents in the area. On Friday 5/25 at approx. 0030hrs. (12:30AM) Fame was dispatched to the 100 block of W. Market St in West Chester to assist First West Chester on a small fire found while investigating an fire alarm.

That afternoon at approx. 1400 hrs. Fame and WCFD members were dispatched to the 900 block of Chrislena Lane in West Goshen for a reported house fire. Upon arrival, crews found a working fire in the kitchen and was quickly contained to the kitchen area without further extension.

Sunday evening 5/27 at approx. 2100 hrs. The WCFD was dispatched to the area of Fox Meadow Ln and S. Concord Rd in Thornbury Twp for a fire type unknown. Engine 53 arrived first to find a working house fire in the 1300 block of S. Concord Rd. Fire was in the garage area with minimal extension into the house. Fame and WCFD were assisted by Goshen, and Concordville Fire Companies.
