Passing of Past President John "Pup" Stout

It is with deep regret the Fame Fire Company #3 announce the passing of John "Pup" Stout, Past President of the Fame Fire Company.

John joined the Fame Fire Company in 1975 and spent over 20 years as an active firefighter, and Ladder Driver. John served as President of the company in 1991, and from 1999-2003. He also served as Trustee, and Vice President.

John had many administrative roles at the company including banquet room chair which led to the original renovations of the Silsby Room, Co-chair of the 175th Anniversary/ PA State Fireman's Convention, Fireman's Relief, the 2021 apparatus housing and most recently the first two phases of the Fame building renovations.

His additional contributions to the Fame Fire Company are way too numerous to mention.

A viewing will be held on Friday September 23, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street, West Chester.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 24th, 2022, at 10:00 am at the Fame Fire Company, 200 East Rosedale Avenue, West Chester, Pa 19382.
