Last evening at our regular monthly meeting, five Live-Ins were each presented checks in the amount of $300.00 made payable to their respective universities to help offset their tuition costs. The checks were made payable to both West Chester University and Immaculata University. Since the inception of the Ralph Watson - West Chester Exchange Club Scholarship Fund in 2021, a total of $7,250.00 has been awarded to Fame Firefighters who participate in the Live-In Program. The scholarship program is named in memory of Ralph Watson Jr. who was a life member of Fame, past president of the Fame, West Chester Fire Chief, long time member of the West Chester Exchange Club and local businessman. The West Chester Exchange Club provides the major source of funding to the program.
