On Friday, December 5th. a number of our members traveled to Manheim, Pa. to attend the PA State Police Academy graduation exercise for the 174th cadet class. After completing approximately 27 weeks of training, 49 new troopers were welcomed to the Pennsylvania State Police by Commissioner Colonel Christopher Paris during the 174th Cadet Class graduation.

A member of that class is Fame Live In Jimmy Perrin. Jimmy joined the Fame in November of 2022 as a West Chester University student. He has been a valued member of the Live In program since January 2023. In June of 2025 Jimmy resigned his Live In position to attend the PSP Cadet Academy.

Having completed his cadet training, Trooper Perrin has been assigned to the Avondale barracks and has also returned to the Fame Live In program.

We are grateful for his dedication to both the Fame Fire Company and to the safety of all those who reside and travel through the great state of Pennsylvania.

Congratulations sir!
I’m sure you will be a great asset to the state police as you were to the Fame and our community!
God Bless you in your new career!
