| Fame Rescue and Structural Collapse Rescue Specialists, together with Lionville Fire Company, responded as part of the Chester County Rescue Task Force to assist Station 21 with a barn collapse involving entrapment. Crews traveled for more than 30 minutes to reach the site in East Nottingham Township. Local responders discovered that a section of the barn had collapsed onto a piece of heavy equipment, trapping its operator. Local crews used temporary shoring to stabilize the structure and prevent further collapse, allowing them to reach the victim. The operator was extricated as Rescue Task Force personnel and equipment arrived at the scene. Afterward, the victim was transported to a local trauma center for medical care. The incident commander also requested additional Urban Search and Rescue support from New Castle County, Delaware. Task Force crews remained on scene for about an hour to ensure no further collapses occurred. Fame Rescue crews returned to Riggtown several hours later, and additional Fame members remained on standby at the station to provide coverage for the greater West Chester area.
