WCFD Assists Goshen on the Apartment Fire

Today at 1625 hours, the Box Alarm was struck for the 1100 Block of West Chester Pike at the Golf Club Apartments (Goshen Fire Co) for the building fire, bringing Ladder 53 and Engine 53. PD arrived on location with heavy smoke showing. FM52 arrived, confirmed the report and requested the Working Fire Dispatch bringing Rescue 53 to the scene. Assistant 53 arrived and assumed command. Ladder 53 arrived and assumed first in ladder truck responsibilities. The Ladder split their crew and conducted an interior search as well as threw ground ladders to the exterior. Engine 53 arrived and provided manpower for overhaul in the fire building. Rescue 53 arrived and sent its personnel to the manpower pool. Firefighters were able to hold the fire to the room of origin. Fame's last unit cleared shortly after 1745 hours.
