After several members just finished up a day of training, Engine 53 was dispatched to assist Station 52 units on the scene of a working truck fire on Southbound Route 202 north of Paoli Pike. Assistant 53 arrived and reported a box truck on fire. Engine 52-1 arrived and put a 1.75" line in service and utilized foam to extinguish the fire. Tanker 52 arrived and supplied the Engine. Engine 53 arrived and provided manpower and secured the batteries to the truck. Crews operated for roughly 25 minutes before being release. West Chester and Goshen Fire Police were on location assisting PD with traffic control.
