Ryan Opiekun was named the West Chester Fire Department Firefighter of the Year from Fame at the Annual WCFD Banquet held on Saturday November 8th at the American Helicopter Museum. FF Opiekun is among several of our younger members who consistently display a willingness to learn and pitch in where needed. Ryan was recently promoted to 2nd Class FF after completing training and being qualified to drive and operate Engine 53.
