Fame is actively looking for members to join our team! Do you live or work in the West Chester area? Are you an incoming West Chester University student? Do you want to give back to your community? Do you want to belong to something bigger than you? Do you want to learn new skills and experience what it is like to help people in need? If you answered YES to ANY of these questions, consider joining the Fame Fire Company. We offer free training and safety gear. We provide fire and rescue services to more than 25 square miles and 55,000 people as part of the West Chester Fire Department. Our proximity to the WCU campus offers incoming students the opportunity to give back and learn outside of the classroom. We have had many student members join who were firefighters in their home towns and were able to continue to run fire/rescue calls with us.
