During the evening hours, Stations 54 and 56 were dispatched to the 500 Block of Valley Drive in East Goshen for the reported apartment on fire. Engine 54-1 arrived on location soon after and reported a 3-Story garden style apartment with smoke showing from the third floor. Assistant 54 arrived on location and requested the working fire dispatched and an additional aerial on the assignment. This brought Station 52 for the full company and Ladder 53 as the additional aerial. L-53 went enroute with a crew of six within minutes of dispatched. The Ladder arrived and positioned on Side B of the strucutre and placed its main to the roof. The crew assisted with ventilation, salvage & overhaul before taking up a short time later. Great stop by the first arriving units!
