Just before 0700 hours, Stations 54/56 (Goshen Fire Co) were alerted to the 1100 Block of South Chester Road for the dwelling fire. Captain 54 quickly arrived to find fire showing from the roof and soon requested the 2nd Alarm. Ladder 53 made the response with five and was able to position its self in a neighbors drive way on side C. Crews made there way to the interior with hooks to help expose fire in the attic. Meanwhile, Ladder 53's chauffeur was able to set up the rig and deploy the aerial in case it needed to be used as a second master stream. Ladder 53 was also able to cover personal items within the house with tarps to protect it from water damage.

Crews remained on scene until 1100 hours helping with overhaul and continued extinguishment.

No injuries reported.
