| Why did you join the fire department? |
I joined the fire department as a way to give back to the community, to engage with a great group of people, and to learn. I joined Fame based on their reputation and their history: when I mentioned to an Asst. Chief in another county that I was thinking of joining the fire service, he said, "you need to join Fame." |

| What are your hobbies and/or interests outside of the fire department? |
Woodworking, rugby football, and traveling |

| What do you like best about being part of the fire department? |
The motivation to train, learn, and use what we learn to help the community. To engage with a group (at Fame, across West Chester Fire Department, and with firefighters in other communities / counties) of dedicated individuals that are similarly motivated, and eager to teach. And fire trucks. |
