Lenape Road Vehicle Rescue

Early this afternoon, Fame units (R-53, E-53) and Good Fellowship EMS (Station 55) were dispatched to Lenape Road near Forest Road East Bradford Township for an auto accident. West Chester PD arrived and found a single vehicle accident vs a tree with confirmed entrapment. Medic 91 (Chester County Hospital ALS) also responded.

Fame units removed the doors to gain access to the victim whose feet were entrapped by the brake pedal. After a difficult and delicate extrication, the victim was carefully removed from the vehicle and transported by EMS to Paoli Hospital Trauma Center.

The roadway remained closed for a period of time while the WCPD investigated the accident scene. They were assisted by WCFD Fire Police (Traffic 52).
